A dispatch promise in writing

Few agents commit to a dispatch time. OrientDig's homepage does: once the delivery address is set, the line chosen and the freight paid, it sends the parcel within 3 to 5 working days. It also gives free HD QC pictures, enough resolution to check stitching and tags. Its biggest market by searches is the UK.

Evidence is thinner

The 4.7 Trustpilot score is high, but the newest review we could see dated from late May 2026. That is why we label it Operating. A small trial parcel is the sensible start.

Switching a find between Hipobuy and OrientDig

1. Open the find on Hipobuy and copy the marketplace URL it is built from (Taobao, Weidian or 1688).
2. Paste that URL into the search field on OrientDig.
3. Check that the picture, the price in yuan and the size options match what the sheet promised.
4. Add the item to your OrientDig cart; storage starts when it reaches OrientDig's warehouse.

The item price stays the same because the Chinese seller sets it. What changes is everything after purchase: QC photos, storage days, available lines and coupons. That is why it pays to compare the parcel estimate on both agents before buying.

What a OrientDig parcel costs in Germany after July 2026

Say you buy a bag and a wallet through OrientDig for €70 in total and pick a line that quotes €22 for the parcel. Germany charges 19% import VAT on goods plus transport, about €17.48. Since 1 July 2026 the EU also charges a flat €3 customs duty for each different tariff category in parcels up to €150 sent under IOSS; this basket has 2 categories, so €6. Landed cost: roughly €115.48, before any carrier handling fee.

OrientDig next to Hipobuy

Hipobuy's help centre states a free purchasing service: you pay the item, Chinese domestic delivery, the international line and a customs declaration charge of about ¥10 per parcel. Returns are possible within five days of an item reaching the warehouse, at the cost of both shipping legs plus ¥5. Set those against OrientDig's terms above and the difference usually comes down to storage time, photo count and the line price for your country.

What to look at in OrientDig's QC photos

Check the label and size tag first, because a wrong size is the cheapest problem to fix before shipping. Then look at seams and stitching at stress points, the colour against the listing under neutral light, and any hardware such as zips and buckles. For shoes, ask for both shoes side by side and the soles. If something is off, raise it while the item is still within the return window; once a parcel leaves China, fixing it is rarely practical.

Keeping a OrientDig parcel affordable

Three habits cut most parcels by a meaningful amount. Remove shoeboxes for all but one pair, since boxes add volume and weight. Group similar items so the €3 EU duty counts fewer tariff categories. Ship once rather than twice, because each parcel pays its own declaration fee and its own duty. Then check whether OrientDig's shipping coupon needs a minimum parcel value, and plan the basket around it.

Questions worth asking OrientDig support

Ask which lines to your country include import VAT and the €3 category duty in the price, and which leave them to be paid on delivery. Ask how long items usually take from 'arrived' to 'photos available'. Ask whether parcel insurance covers customs seizure as well as loss. The answers, and how quickly they come, are a good test of whether OrientDig suits you.

Light, low-risk categories make the best first orders on any agent: T-shirts, caps, belts and jewellery cost little to ship and are easy to check in photos.
