Status labels on this site follow one rule set: Working means the site loads and recent reviews show orders moving; Operating means it loads but recent evidence is thin; Reported means warning signs without confirmation; Shut down needs an owner statement, a dead domain or a documented raid. See the full agent status list for every agent side by side.
What happened to Wegobuy
Wegobuy shared its roots with Superbuy and served buyers for years before going offline in early 2025. Some searches for the name today are not about the agent at all; our keyword file notes that a share are misspellings of a weight-loss drug. The real Wegobuy interest that remains comes mostly from Slovakia and the US.
Wegobuy sheets are among the oldest still shared online, so expect more dead listings than in recent sheets. Before rebuilding a whole sheet, test ten random rows; if most no longer exist, start from a current list instead and use the old sheet only to remember which styles you liked.
Rebuilding
Wegobuy links contain the original marketplace URL or ID. Extract it, rebuild the product link, and test it on a live agent. Expect some items to be delisted.
Turning dead Wegobuy links into live ones
A Wegobuy link fails because the agent's address is dead, not because the product disappeared. The marketplace ID is still inside the URL. Copy it, rebuild the Taobao or Weidian product address, and open it on a working agent. Expect a share of very old rows to be gone: sellers delist, rename or reprice items. Our links guide lists the exact URL patterns.
If the sheet has hundreds of rows, a spreadsheet formula that extracts the number after id= saves hours.
Choosing a replacement for Wegobuy
Pick by market. German and French buyers have the most choice: Hipobuy, Kakobuy and Oopbuy all draw large audiences there. Spanish buyers lean towards Hipobuy and USFans. If storage time matters, Sugargoo (100 days) and Basetao (120 days) beat the 90-day norm. Read the Hipobuy review for the agent this site centres on, including the Trustpilot warning, and compare it with Litbuy, Joyagoo, Mycnbox.
Avoiding Wegobuy copycats
When an agent closes, look-alike domains and 'relaunch' pages appear, often with a slightly different spelling. Do not log in with your old Wegobuy password anywhere, and change that password wherever else you used it. Official news about balances would come from the original domain or the support email on it, not from a social media direct message.
Treat any site that asks you to top up to 'unlock' an old Wegobuy balance as a scam.
Lessons from the Wegobuy closure
Every agent shutdown repeats the same pattern: buyers with balances lose the most, buyers with raw marketplace links lose the least. Keep balances low, ship parcels when they are ready, and store the Taobao or Weidian link next to every agent link in your sheet. With those three habits, moving away from any agent, including Hipobuy, takes an afternoon rather than a crisis.
Check our dated status list before acting on shutdown rumours; several in 2026 were false.
Money and parcels still tied to Wegobuy
Parcels already handed to a carrier keep moving whatever happens to the agent's website; track them with the carrier's own number. Items paid for but still in the warehouse are the hard case. Write to every support address Wegobuy published, attach order numbers and screenshots, and keep a record of each attempt. If the payment was recent and made by card or PayPal, start a dispute before the window closes.
Do not pay anyone who contacts you offering to recover Wegobuy funds for a fee; recovery scams follow every agent closure.

Spreadsheet categories that suit Wegobuy
Light, low-risk categories make the best first orders on any agent: T-shirts, caps, belts and jewellery cost little to ship and are easy to check in photos. Shoes and jackets need closer QC and more parcel weight. If you are building a basket, our filtered pages help: jerseys and sportswear, watches and sneakers. Every link there opens on Wegobuy once you use the marketplace URL.
Who Wegobuy suits
Superbuy is the natural landing place for former Wegobuy users; Hipobuy is the other common choice for European buyers.
